Hicks Family Tree Care has deep roots in Missouri, beginning in 1946 when Allen Hicks founded Hicks Tree Service. For over 50 years, Allen owned and operated the business with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. In 1997, his son Rick Hicks took over the reins, continuing the family legacy of dependable, honest, and community-centered service. In April 2024, Justus and Alisha Hostetter purchased the business with a shared dedication to these same values, bringing new energy while honoring the company’s long-standing reputation.

Justus brings more than 15 years of experience working with trees in the storm recovery industry. He has traveled the country assisting communities hit by natural disasters and has since expanded his expertise to residential and commercial tree care. His hands-on experience, combined with a deep respect for both trees and the people who care for them, drives the next chapter of Hicks Family Tree Care.
